Who We Are

From the beginning.

The spirit world is as real to Austin de Bourg as the natural world in which we live. From an early age he witnessed the reality of the spirit world when the devil, working through a Satanist in his neighborhood, tried to kill all his siblings in an attempt to kill him before he could grow up and step into his God-given purpose and destiny. Two of Austin's siblings died as a result. He was next in line but Jesus Christ stepped in as his defense and placed His divine covering over Austin's life.

God began to reveal Himself to Austin and introduce him to this supernatural dimension from the tender age of eight. That relationship later grew into a bond of spiritual intimacy with the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit which has gained him the privilege of receiving the truths contained in his books.

Apostle Dr. de Bourg is unique in many ways, possibly because his experiences in God have been unique. From the age of eight, the Lord started to draw him into the woods near his home to reveal His presence to him. It is in the seclusion of those woods that he first learnt brokenness, submission, and humility as he experienced the Father’s consuming presence. These early childhood experiences developed in him a keen sensitivity to the Lord and a faith that later enabled him to walk in the spiritual dimension with God.

Austin’s background in the supernatural prepared him adequately for ministry. Yet, it was not until many years later on the street of Salzburg, Austria that the Spirit of the Lord led Austin into a remarkable experience of the “New Birth.” His encounter with the Savior, Jesus Christ was indeed both deeply personal and unique.

Early Years of Ministry

When he was just three years old in the Lord, his full time ministry was launched with a missionary trip to Trinidad as God chose to first school him in the office of the Evangelist. He served in this office from 1977 – 1980, where many were healed, delivered and set free. This was just the beginning . . .

Three years later, he erected a compelling sign at a house on the Diego Martin Main Road, which became the very first location of Trinidad Christian Center. The sign read, “Bring the Sick! Bring the Drug Addict! Bring the Demon Possessed! Freely ye have received; Freely give!” Every person that came for healing and deliverance received without fail. Trinidad Christian Center was officially founded by Austin de Bourg in May of 1980, it was the materialization of a vision given to him by God. He saw in the spirit “people of all creed and race coming excitedly to a Christian Center to be ministered to and to be taught the Word of God.” This ministry began with a revival which lasted for 5 years, radically affecting the spiritual state of the Church in the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Signs, wonders, miracles and salvation accompanied Pastor Austin de Bourg’s anointed preaching and people came from all parts of the nation to experience this new move of God.

The Journey Continues

The Pastoral decades from 1980 to 2000 were intense front-line experiences, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and teams of ministers were raised up locally and abroad. Today there are few Christians in the nation of Trinidad and Tobago that have not been touched directly or indirectly by the ministry of this man, uniquely raised up by God. Indeed, Austin de Bourg has readily laid down his life for the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the restoration of Biblical Truths and the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry.

In the year 2000, he was appointed to the office of the Apostle by his covering Bishop, Don Meares. In his apostolic call God has sent him to minister, equip, train, and empower ministers in Africa, India, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, and the United States and has mentored some in Austria and the Ukraine.
